In Pittsburgh, the best-known bakeries and bagel shops have lines on weekend mornings, so arrive early or order ahead where the shop offers it. Across Pennsylvania, immigrant bakeries add Mexican pan dulce, Vietnamese banh mi bread, Chinese buns, Middle Eastern sweets and European rye to the mix, and many gluten-free and vegan bakeries have opened in larger cities. Check the listing for hours, whether the shop accepts custom cake orders and its Google rating before you go, and call about allergens, since small kitchens often share equipment. Pittsburgh is in Pennsylvania, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Traffic in Pittsburgh peaks on weekday mornings and afternoons, so allow extra time then. Addresses read from the street number up to the city, state abbreviation and five-digit ZIP code; the map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Huge section of chocolate, candies, and novelty items! We went the day before Easter and there were still so many goodies for baskets! They even had chocolate covered strawberries which is my oldest’s favorite! We bought a variety of Easter chocolates, other chocolates, & candies. The kids have almost already devoured it all which is fine - we can NEVER get enough of Chocolate Boutique. It’s a must-go every time we’re in town!!

This store is fantastic! It has a a HUGE selection of items, and the prices are pretty reasonable. The chocolate covered items are soooo good, and I’m obsessed with the chocolate covered potato chips. The store is such a fun environment and the store is beautiful! It’s an absolute must-visit for the holidays too. It’s perfect for kids stocking stuffers, Valentine’s Day strawberries, Mother’s Day assorted chocolates, and any themed things you may need! The baking supply store is also incredible. I do a lot of cake decorating, and it’s super convenient to get all of my supplies there!

I absolutely love Chocolate Boutique. Their chocolate—especially the dark chocolate—is some of the best I’ve ever tasted. You can tell how much pride and care goes into everything they make. All of their locations are great, but I especially love the Manaca store. The owner is warm, welcoming, and truly passionate about the products. The newly opened Sewickley location is gorgeous, and the Robinson shop is always fantastic as well. If you’re a chocolate lover, this place is a must-try

I visited the chocolate boutique baking & candy supply store in Robinson mall today. The store had so much to choose from and I was so excited to browse. The young girl working seemed friendly and told us it was her first day working alone. Amanda checked us out and told us our total was over $60 for 6 items! She scanned the one pound white chocolate melting discs multiple times so I questioned her on the total knowing this total amount was not how much I spent (I looked at all the prices before checking out). Each item I purchased was roughly about $5. After pulling out my phone to start calculating up each item myself, she corrected the amount and my total came to just $27. The original amount was over double the actual amount I spent. I paid & will not return due to this interaction. I’m glad I questioned the outrageous, incorrect total I was told i owed. If you visit, please be cautious and aware of the prices & your total amount unless you want to be scammed out on $30+ for a few items.

The place is very cute and the staff was helpful. They have a neat selection of unusual candy and drinks. I was excited to see a sugar free section as well. They have a discounted expired candy table, which I grabbed a few Boyer peanut butter cups not thinking they’d be super old; I figured maybe a couple months at best — turns out they’re over a year expired. It’s my fault for not checking but over a year expired is a bit much and should probably be tossed. Unfortunately they smelled off and tasted strange.
